mission

Our mission is to provide qualified New Mexican patients with an uninterrupted supply of the highest quality medical cannabis for alleviating symptoms caused by debilitating medical conditions and their medical treatments. SWOP is committed to working with the state of New Mexico, the New Mexican health care community and qualified New Mexican patients to support and serve the purpose of the Lynn and Erin Compassionate use act, passed by the state of New Mexico in 2007.

COMPASSION
Cannabis is an important therapeutic plant that should be readily accessible to state qualified patients through a doctor's recommendation. Cannabis provides effective relief for persons living with critical and chronic illnesses.

EMPOWERMENT
The individual is the primary authority when it comes to making personal healthcare decisions, including the decision to use Cannabis medicinally. The individual must also have the right to produce their own medicine and access it in a manner that best meets their needs. Empowerment encourages the individual to take control of his or her own healing.

NATURAL HEALTH CARE
Natural therapies are an effective alternative or compliment to allopathic medicine. Natural therapies must be available to everyone who would choose to make them part of a healthy lifestyle--not just to those who can afford them.

ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS
We produce and distribute medical cannabis because it is an important alternative to some of the potentially harmful tools of allopathic medicine.
